Ref alert for Eng/Ger

ref is Larrionda who is one of the best in the world but also one of the harshest, if not the harshest! He has shown an amazing 94 red cards in his 140 international matches and, with Eng/Ger being one of the 5 best rivalries in the world, expect a lot of harsh tackles and some real potential for red cards.

This will be his 4th match already in this WC with no reds in previous 3 games so he's either trying to keep things decided on the field or WAAAAAYYYY overdue for a sending off

i figured he'd play a big part in the game but through cards, not clear missed goals. ship his ass back to uruguay tomorrow and take the linesman with him

late game ref is Rosetti, one of the world's best. he gave out 4 YC, a red, and a penalty in his last WC match (Ghana/Aus) but typically he's not a big card giver. he did hand out 6 YC and a red though in the Bosnia/Portugal WC playoff match but only has an avg of 4 YC/game in his international career.

i doubt we will see much ref controversy in this next game. btw, just a heads up that horrible Howard Webb is doing the Brazil/Chile match tomorrow

now i know why webb was given the world cup. as bad as he is, he's no worse than these others. no way the linesman can get that wrong. as much as i dislike el tri i'd still like to see them go out without gifting the arg a goal

we both hate webb with extreme prejudice...and rightly deserved...some of his epl games leave u scratching yer heads wondering if his brother or father run ladbrokes or paddy power....but i will(let me clear my throat)actually give him a compliment fer his fa cup final and the one game i saw him do so far in this tourney(forgot which one already).... gonna try not to let it steer me away from taking a stand in the brazil-chile match..cheers
