If true, it's got to be one of the biggest reversals of fortune in Vegas history for a Super Bowl. BernieV in another thread said that his well placed sources in Vegas were claiming the Giants ML was being bet at a 3 to 1 clip compared to New England. I believe it.

Huh......who woulda thought that the early percentage being higher on the Giants could have EVER been balanced out a little by game day?
Or that they could actually win the game? Strange days...Strange days....

Here's my surprised face.

Jokes aside, the Under hitting (by a wide margin) must have netted them a ton. Especially in teasers.

And here I am thinking my giants play was a massive public dog. Do any of our resident conspiracy theorists think that Vegas would claim they won even if they didnt just to protect their bully/winning image? :think2:

Wouldn't put it past them.

Tough to know what the actual truth is I guess.

totally agree. just like when people claim to know where all the money is going, I have heard people argue why would Vegas tip their hand and give anyone that info, so who knows

AGREED! Holy shit.
Eyyyyooo! First time for everything :)

That's kind of the reason I voiced my opinion not to use too many external factors (what vegas/books need, where the money currently is, etc..) in capping a game. Most of the time we really don't know the truth about those things.

I cashed a ticket at the green valley ranch on Monday and the ticket writer said he was paying out all day, but there was a lotta late action on NE ( line movement )

It will never happen but it should be public information and totally transparent to bettors exactly where the money is going in every book. The shit should be in lights on the big boards all over the books in Vegas. Number of bets and total money wagered. There's a very good reason it won't happen but that's another story entirely.
