I think a big problem was/is they have a 100,000 thousand republican guard members lurking around. It was an issue where if they kill them like bugs the USA would look real bad so they chose to let them walk.

War is hell

Don't forget all of the brainwashed Americans who did support this Stupidity Before it started. There is some dandy history here in this room of the supporters views.

I admit, I was one of those dumb ass americans that supported the war. I admit, I was wrong!!!! All I want is that Mr. President please bring our troops back home. I was for the war because of supposed WMDs.

My heart and prayers goes to all the soldiers abroad and their families at home.

Takes a brave man to admit he was wrong. Apology accepted.

he didn't apologize. if he decides to change his opinion on the war, how is that an apology? he has nothing to apologize for.

you're accepting an apology that is not necessary and was not offered.

a little tough to "read between the lines" on an internet forum, isn't it?

even if he was apologizing, what makes you think he was apologizing to you?

I really don't see the point of this discussion. If he did apologize, fine...I accept it. I'd accepted it because I guess I represent the anti-war people but if he were apologizing he would best direct it to the families of those who died in this war (ON BOTH SIDES - NOT JUST AMERICAN) If he didn't, thats okay, he's admitted to a mistake which is just as good as an apology (acting on the presumption that he was sorry).

I'm waiting for apologies from KMAN, AMERICAN, PATRIOT, CAPTAIN #5 (yeah right)....

I've been against this war and it's fabricated justification of since day one, but still, Alex has nothing to be sorry for *IF* he's learned the most important thing there is to learn - think for yourself & do NOT trust anyone blindly (including appointee Bush).

I was for the war because of supposed WMDs.

IMO, Alex was deceived as were millions of other Americans. America has a long history of nobel leadership, but that has changed since the WWs and we are now "led" by theiving criminals and war-raging, over-privlidged imps.

Sadly, it's not getting much better anytime soon. John Kerry is a minimal upgrade, but an upgrade nonetheless.

Yes, Damn George Bush, because he is the one behind the terrorism. Terrorism has saved his sorry ass. Are there real terrorists? Maybe. But not no where near the level GWB wants the stupid people to believe.

In regards to Kerry. I see him as a lateral move. The only thing that might make him better is that he is not as obviously stupid as Bush. It is messed up that this country is doomed either way with these candidates.

A Chief Executive Officer should for sure be on the job 12+ hours daily, 5+ days a week.

And if the company this CEO leads is bleeding red ink in all time record rates, and a portion of his 'client base' is bleeding red and dying 2-3 per day (or more) to carry the company message, I think more time is needed. That and maybe firing a bunch of upper level management and replacing them with ones that can stop the bleeding on both fronts.

Instead, this CEO has taken more time away from headquarters than any previous President. Even when one factors in 21st century improved communications, his time out of Washington DC is staggering.

Fortunately, as 'shareholders', we can replace this CCC (cavalier chief cowboy) with a real CEO.

That one - Kerry - will come with his own set of problems as the perfect leader, but the unrelenting flow of blood red is far less likely to be two of them.
