Here's the deal. Gottfried asked Yow to let him stay on the rest of the season, felt he "owed" his players that, i.e. not leaving them in the wind. Not sure how good an idea that was seeing they're down 11 at the half, but after reading the story, I bit, what can I say. I frankly don't think his team is all that good, for instance, he's got a center that hasn't missed a Big Mac or Whopper driving down any fast food route. I just need them to keep it within 10 today.
