Rather get blown out or squeezed out?

I understand a loss is a loss. But if you had the option, would you rather lose a bet by one or two points, or be completely off on your prediction, so at least you know you didn't get squeezed? Just wondering differing viewpoints. Thanks.

I guess blown out right...I would prefer of course not to lose but I would rather know early than sweat it out

2 things at play here: I would MUCH MUCH rather get blown out due to the emotional sense. I always feel better when that happens versus a tight last second loss. THOSE will make you sick.

HOWEVER, from an unemotional and detached sense, I think we should seek to win only but of course that is impossible. So, we must also look for our losses to be tight and within reach of our winning the game. That should make us feel better about our capping and decision making. We can't win 'em all but those strange and tight losses that are just within reach tell us that we may very well be on the correct path to more consistent winners.

Good luck and give me a blow out any time I lose...LOL! tulsa
