I just offered Smith for Holt and I've giving up any chance of Lee Evans doing anything this year. Seems good at this point to me. I also just read Testaverde might start this weekend. That might actually be a positive though with how bad Carr is.

Whoops, read that wrong. Unless you are deep at WR I wouldn't trade Holt for Smith. Carr just can't seem to do anything at all and the rams seem to be getting it together a little bit and you'd think Holt should only improve on his numbers as where I don't think Smith has a 100 yards in his last three games.

Smith will be better than Holt the rest of the year, and getting a guy like Evans with a ton of potential thrown in only makes it better. I love the trade. Holt will start tailing off in a big way in the upcoming weeks.

I like the trade a lot Yanks... Steve if he doesnt put up better #'s than Holt the rest of the season he will be right there with him and then your adding Buffalo's #1 wr who will get it going eventually. I think when and if JP Losman gets his job back they will air it out some more

I like it too. Holt isn't as high as Smith because Rams O line sucks this year and the shuffle at QB.

Smith is still smith, and Carr isn't a big drop off from Del Homme.

Carr is a huge drop off. Look at the numbers if you have to. Numbers against the saints even.

I give at least 3 to 1 odds that Holt is ahead of Smith here on out unless Holt is hurt. Add that to the fact that if Smith doesn't have a huge game soon he's going to self-destruct just like Owens has in the past.

Wish you luck with the trade but I don't see Smith getting it done on that team and I don't like Evans.
