Moss may have simply been given a day off after practicing in full on both Wednesday and Thursday, but there's no way to tell for sure. At least we'll know Moss' status early Sunday because the Pats play at 1PM ET. If he can't play, New England will be in trouble against a dangerous Falcons club.

His back is no longer an issue (not that it really ever was). Moss hasn't caught a touchdown through three games, but he is ranked first in the league in catches and fifth in the league in receiving yards. Considering his well below-the-norm YPC average (10.8), Moss is destined for improvement.

The Mossman is on pace to catch 96 passes this year, though his YPC (12.2) is a career low. Expect him to get piping hot in short order, with the Titans and Buccaneers next on New England's schedule.
