Game 2
--------
MIAMI OHIO (1 - 4) at N ILLINOIS (2 - 3)
Week 7 Saturday, 10/11/2008 4:00 PM
This game between the Huskies and Red Hawks looks to be a blood bath. The Redhawks avgeraging 1.8 YPR on the road and their Dfense allowing 5.0 YPR could be in for a long day Saturday. Especially when the Huskies are running with great success at Home this season averaging 7.7 YPR and allowing just 1.1 YPR on D!! Passing for Miami (OH) is comparitively poor achieving just 5.2 YPA. Frankly I'm not sure how the Redhawks are going to have any chance at moving the ball or stopping N. Illinois on D. Possible blowout here unless i'm missing something.
Recent Trends:
MIAOH are 1-7 ATS in their last 8 games overall.
Huskies are 4-0 ATS vs. a team with a losing record.
Huskies are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games on turf.
Huskies are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 conference games.
Huskies are 7-0 ATS in their last 7 games overall.
Redhawks are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games following a ATS loss.
Redhawks are 1-5 ATS vs. a team with a losing record.
Redhawks are 1-7 ATS in their last 8 games overall.
I'm Taking N. Illinois -10.5 (5 Units):toast:
Interesting and good to know as I had NIlly locked in as best play.k:NO ILL IS A MUCH IMPROVED TEAM BUT THEY MAY BE DOWN TO THE THIRD STRING QB..MY FRIEND IS AN ALUMNI. HE WENT TO THE TENN GAME AND SAID THE 3RD STRINGER IS A RUNNNING QB WHO CAN'T PASS.
I'D CHECK THE QB STATUS BEFORE LOCKING IN LOADING..I HAD THEM AS A MUST IN MY 3 TEAM PARLAY BUT NOW I'M WAITING ..GOOD LUCK THIS WEEK:toast:
Thanks for the heads up, thats why I love this place. That is news to me, but regardless of who the QB has been this year, the bulk of their offense has been rushing. The way Miami's D plays, they may not need to throw the ball. Still a play for me.NO ILL IS A MUCH IMPROVED TEAM BUT THEY MAY BE DOWN TO THE THIRD STRING QB..MY FRIEND IS AN ALUMNI. love the troy pick.
i would add the Under there as well at u51.
Also, saw you were looking at the kentucky game. As an SEC guy, im going to make a big play on South Carolina here. Both teams rely on Defense, but USC offense has a lot more talent (which isnt saying too much). Couple this with the punishing game kentucky played last week and I gotta run with USC to win
Kentucky has major injuries on the O-line and at WR. Also have a starter out on the D-line according to one of my Gamecock buddies. Not exactly the defense you want to be have a weak offensive line against.

Randizzle, a little insight on your NIU play, as I am a student here and know a very good deal about our team. As a previous poster mentioned, the quarterback situation is quite dismal right now. We have a very promising redshirt freshman qb in Chandler Harnish, but he has been hurt since week 2. Our senior, Dan Nicholson, is also hurt..and even if he wasnt, his poor decision making would make it very hard for me to bet on him. The guy most likely to start on saturday is another redshirt freshman, Demarcus Grady..he has almost zero passing game, but can really scoot. Also, about your statistic about our home rushing offense and defense stats, weve only played one home game this season and it was against D-1AA Indiana State, who is terrible even in the 1-AA ranks. Those are the negatives...the positives, however, are that our defense has looked VERY strong as of late, forcing turnovers and pretty much holding Tennessee in check last week. I know Tennessee is down this year, but a MAC team shutting down an SEC team is impressive any way you look at it. NIU usually has a pretty solid home field advantage at Huskie Stadium, as we usually fill a good portion of the student section and the players really get fired up. I'd be a hell of a lot more confident in giving Miami 10.5 points if Garrett Wolfe was still in the backfield, but......haha
Anyways, I wouldnt put money on this. I shouldnt anyways, because you should never bet with your heart, but I still trust your analysis as you have been nasty this year. Go with your gut, man. NIU is definitely better than Miami and SHOULD cover, but Im just not sure. I hope this analysis helps you randizzle, and everyone else interested. Good luck!:toast:
