From the games that I have seen that have been really rainy, the total has been really high. I believe that rainy games make for really scrappy goals, where the keeper is more likely to let the ball slip and where a defender half clears the ball out of the area.
I dont know if rain makes the number of goals go up a coincidence but if it is not, then it can prove to be an useful factor when betting the totals. Just hope I had some facts to back up this claim.
