And Texas was no factor in USC playing their "C" game at home? Seems to me Texas had a lot of kids get to the NFL off that team. I hate Texas but they put up 41 on the SC defense. If Ohio St hasn't been a top-5 program the last five years, please name 5 better.

No, not really when you see how it was self inflicted in terms of the mistakes USC made. What has Ohio State accomplished in CFB (not talking NFL draft picks) over the last 5 years? They pad their record in an average conference & get their ass handed to them by superior teams in terms of speed & talent. I wouldn't brag about those accomplishments.

Lsu was solid team, nice nose tackle and fullback. Sanchez is a prime time player though. Muluaga is next Junior Seau. Joe Mcknight also special.

No doubt about USC is for real. But when you looked at LSU's defense the front line was just crazy, and a damn good hard hitting secondary. Not to mention one of the best WR corps in the nation. Flynn was not too shabby either.

The Big 10 has hung with the SEC in head-to-head bowl games the last few years. Outside of Ohio St's nightmares, the conference has been fine. Ask Florida who was supposed to kill Michigan last year.

I don't think you can base that strictly on bowl games.
Bowl games are different and a lot of factors play.

Than what else can you base it on? The SEC gets every bowl game at home, so they should have a great record, right? Much of the hate for Ohio St is because they played poorly in BCS games the last couple of years.

I was also very proud of my comments that Theo Scott is better than Boeckman becasue he was, eliminate that 1st qtr cheap shot on Theo and some bad calls in the 4th qtr The Bobs win straight possibly.
