Raiders at Frisco

Let's try and make it 4-0 tonite.

This is only week 2 of preseason and, as I mentioned Monday, those complicated offenses can't seem to get going early on. Every team is still running the fullback dive package. For Frisco thats a major chapter heading within their playbook. For Oakland, well they'll have to check the appendix to find the plays. Defensively, the 9r starters aren't very good at defending the pass but they can stop the run and hopefully, by the time the Raiders commit to the air it'll be kill the QB time.

Looks like this game was a trap for a lot of people. Its not over - but up 7-0 and with the ball at the 2 minute mark isn't a bad thing.

I saw early on a lot of people talking up Oakland - but I laid off it cause a buddy of mine said it might be a trap. He says that about every game - but in this case I was smart to listen to him.

Have you read the facts about the Pats @ Washington for saturday? My buddy says its a trap too but I am looking for some moral support here cause I dove in feet first after seeing the pats defense in action vs the Giants.

Definitely a nail biter! I got a little lucky on this one because Callahan found some girls on the left side side of Frisco's defense in the second half, but after he exploited them for 10 points it looked like he wanted to try something else. I fully expected to kill Mirer on the last drive but the ole vet was ahead of me and he kept ducking out of the pocket. He had the TD but he forgot that fourth stringers can't catch a hard pass, and the fumble was a godsend. Exciting stuff. It would be a loser in the regular season, but the rules say I have to take the cash. Who says you can't bet preseason football?
