I've always worked/been in school since I was 15 years old and now that I have quit my job to play poker full time I don't even know what to do with all this free time.

Sometimes it's really empowering to know I am 100% in control of my own time. There is no one that tells me what to do or when to do it. But other times you feel like "damn what am I contributing to society?"

I can tell all of you the hardest part about playing poker professionally is dealing with the fact that you are not helping the world in any way. Don't get me wrong I'll never give it up, but I really need to take an active interest in some charities or something.

Anyone really passionate about certain causes that would be cool for me to look into?

JC.......don't worry about not contributing to society. You are a legend in your own mind.....just sit back, play poker as a pro, bet on sports and let the money roll in. You the man bro!

JC..... You are a first. I've been around the poker game for a long, long time. I have met and spent countless hours around numerous poker "pro's" one thing is consistent. You never have "free time" as a newby pro. Shouldn't you be perfecting your skill, reading, reviewing hand history, learning, improving your game? Shouldn't you be putting in countless hours playing? I have a few questions, if you don't mind. What stakes are you playing? Multi tabling I'm sure? How many tables are you playing? Where are you finding a large enough game selection to multi table? What is your win rate? As a pro, I'm sure you are following the circuit for the best games. I'd love to meet you for some "hand review" at the series. Going to Cincinnati? Then southern and northern Indiana?

Woah Bro, that is deep. We all need to help the world, am starting with the man in the mirror. I get really really depressed when I lose a bet, I take it out on my dog by drop kicking him into the pool. Justin help me help my dog and the world. He needs swimming lessons. Send me money and unburden your soul....

Where do you play? How many hours a week? How many hours trying to plug your leaks to make yourself a better player?

If you play online there are a ton of apps where you should be studying past hands you've lost to see where you went wrong...

I use to play a lot of 2/5 and 5/10 NL live while going to school and my free time which was rare was either spent at the bars/clubs, betting sports or going over my game. If you find you have a lot of free time you're probably not playing enough.
