For the life of me I have never been able to understand why so many people are willing to wager their hard earned money on something they believe is 'fixed', officiated by crooks, outcomes controlled by networks, teams that cheat and played by over paid, abusive players who don't give a damn about us and our wagers.

Man, people are really stupid. Kid, maybe its not always about money. Watching your team, or your sport change before your eyes. What we seen on Sunday night, was a fix. You don't have to have money on a game to see it. You don't have agree, the NFL has jumped shark and I am out. I will spend more time with my family. I would love to know, how many families, here have been ruined by gambling.

Why would the NFL or anyone associated fix a game? I admit, i see whacky things happen too. Especially since I started looking at lines, etc.

But what interest would the NFL have in it? And if so, why has no one ever come out and said it?

The problem is that when certain people's team lose they will look for any reason to justify their loss. Sad!!!!!

NFL admits to blown call in the Titans/oakland game.

Jeff tripplet that mother fucker
You can't tell me that dude hasn't made a mistake in this situation before a handful of times...
..because he has. There is no fluke here.

I will never bet a jeff tripplet game again unless I absolutely know the result before hand. Dude fucks up everything he touches.

Triplett, Grier, Hocculi...all on the NFL take committee.

The million dollar question. Couple of thoughts....

1) The NFL is a business. $$ is the ultimate driver, period.
2) The NFL wants parity. Games late in the season that don't matter generally don't make for a good television product....and hurts revenue.
3) Somehow the books, networks and the leagues are in bed together. This is where it gets tough to make a correlation. Maybe the same people who own the casinos own the NFL, networks...etc. Who the fuck knows and we certainly never will.
