For all the Liberal or Bush Haters :
(or for others to think who would have given Bush a run for his $$$)

Some of you say how you don't like Kerry but want Bush out. Who would have been a better choice for the Dems ?

Maybe I don't qualify cause I like Kerry okay although I think these Dems would have done better.

Howard Dean - cause he was against the Iraq war from day one and could not be viewed as flip-flopping that major issue

Wesley Clark - could not be accused of being soft on defense or war on terror

Also wish Bill Bradley would have run again

Btw, I like McCain better than all of 'em. Same goes for colin powell whom my dad has written in for something like 3 elections straight now.

Doesn't matter, I long for a return to gridlock. If Congress looked like it would be changing over to the Dems I might consider voting for W. I think going forward we need to avoid allowing one side or the other to have unfettered access to pushing their agenda through. Lawmakers don't serve the public or the voters, they serve their party and its donors and that is sad. Until either side proves itself worthy of our trust then we must keep the gridlock going to make sure nothing passes unless it can be agreed upon by both sides. At least then it has a much better chance at being good legislation.

Where I come from we get 2 votes at election time.

1 for the local and 1 for the regional, (the elected dudes sit in the same house though).

So many people have been giving 1 vote to each party the powers that be have been saying they wish they had never given us this system.

The bottom line is, with a hung parliament you get compromise and only the smarter people can make things happen.
They also have to put some work into getting things done.

They get paid plenty anyway, so make them work for it, an added bonus is they can keep an eye on each another while we get on with our lives.
