Question on betting the moneyline in soccer

If I were to place a bet on a team for the moneyline and the match turns out to be a tie, do I lose the bet or is it a push?

The reason I ask is that if I bet the moneyline in hockey and the game is a tie, it is considered a push.

Huh? If there's a 'draw' option and at the end of the 90 minutes, it's a draw (or 'tie' if you will) and you bet on a home or an away win, you lose.

Some bookies are getting around to the idea of Americanised 'draw, no bet' where there's only two options to bet on (home win and away win) and if there's a draw at the end of the 90 minutes, it's a push.

....hope that helps a little (give us the bookie concerned and we'll get the picture as to whether you're on about a two option bet or a three option bet).

big, don't underestimate the value of the draw in soccer, might be the least probable one according to stats, hence books have 2.9 upwards 99% of the time, but some games have draw written all over them, very profitable if you know how to pick your spots.
