The only thing worse than SEC fans telling us how great the SEC is are when people try to makeup reasons why it isn't as good as everyone thinks it is.

SEC West is the best DIVISION on a consistent basis

And that is another factor. UF, UT and UGA are "traditionally" power teams. Go back to the 90's and early 2000's and the SEC East was the toughest "DIVISION" in CFB w/ Florida, UGA, and UT annual powers. UF & UT won National Championships in 96 & 98...and played for a few others. When UF & UT return to being 9-3 or better type of team, that just elevates the conference even more. Most of the last 5 years the "SEC is the Best" talk has not included those two traditional powers.
