I don't have any stats on it but it seems to me your total picks are doing much better than your side picks. Even your total leans and strong opinions.
For the last few weeks I've been betting more on your total plays and have been doing nicely.

Do you have any stats on this breakdown?
My best.

They are a little bit better. I was just looking back to last year and this year and the numbers are remarkably similar.

2002 48-39 (sides - 55.2%) 11-4 (totals - 73.3%) overall 59-43 57.8%
2003 39-31 (sides - 55.7%) 18-9 (totals - 66.7%) overall 57-40 58.8% - one week to go

Total 87-70 (sides - 55.4%) 29-13(totals - 69.0%) overall 116-83 58.3%

Overall total

In the playoffs last year, I went 5-3 on the sides and only 1-3 on totals. I went 0-4 the first weekend of the playoffs and then went 6-2 the rest of the way. I've done more research this year and expect to perform pretty well in the playoffs.

Having said all of that, this weekend (knock on wood) looks pretty strong for some side plays.

Saying they are a little bit better is an understatement. They are a lot better as I expected they would be. I will take that into consideration for future betting. Thanks buddy.

You're right except there is a lot more volume with the sides. The question is, if I played as many totals, would they still hit in the high 60's? I'm guessing probably not. I suppose you could say if I played fewer sides, they might hit at a better percentage too, but volume, with a decent return, is sometimes better than a higher percentage.

Good luck this weekend and Happy Holidays!
