Hi I noticed something at a european sportbook and wanted to get clarification. For the money line for this russian basketball game, there is a huge favorite. the spread is actually around 17.5 points, and the money line read 1.05 for the favorite, and 9.20 or so for the dog. When I enter the bet as a test for the favorite it says risking 50 to win 52 or so. Does this mean i would end up getting a huge favorite at basically even money? something about this is confusing, and I am new to betting in general so I was curious if anyone knew much about the system, thank you.

Subtract 1 from the odds and multiply it times the amount of your bet. That's how much you'll get back if you win.
