are you keeping Records now ??? Because if you are... You know that you are NOT 2-0 on the Season

Let's not go this route again... it won't be Pretty
You are correct, I am not 2-0 on the season. I intend to keep this thread and only this thread active for the remainder of the season. The picks in this thread are derived from a handicapping angle that I started wagering on about a week or so and I also back tested it for the entire season but didn't want to post results of plays that I haven't posted on this site. For all the readers I don't have a exact win loss record for the season but I am hovering around 55%-58% through about 15 games or so with posted plays.

705San Antonio -1, -110 (1.10 to win 1.0) WIN 125-118

The Washington Wizards are above the .500 mark in win percentage for the first time in almost 5 seasons and have been playing well lately, winning 3 of their last 4 overall and 3 of their last 4 at home including wins versus Portland and Oklahoma City. The Wizards history against tonight's opponent, the San Antonio Spurs, has been something they would rather forget, losing 15 straight overall and 8 straight at the Verizon Center (0-6 ATS in their last 6 contests versus the Spurs at home). Tonight the Spurs will be playing their second game of a lengthy 9 game road trip. They have been battling injuries for some time now but they received a boost on Monday with the return of shooting guard Danny Green. The Spurs are just 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games but that could be a little deceiving, with 2 of those lines being -7.5 and -10.5. I see good value with them tonight just laying a free throw.

812New York -1, -110 (1.10 to win 1.0)

The Denver Nuggets travel to New York to begin a 4 game road trip tonight with the inconsistent Knicks. The Nuggets are coming off back to back wins at home versus the Bucks and the Clippers. Denver has performed well recently against the line versus teams with a low win percentage but are just 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games following a win and 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games versus the Eastern Conference. Denver has won 4 of their last 6 games but 5 of those games were in their own building. Denver has also seemed to be in the habit of playing to the level of their competition which has affected their energy and competitive levels. The New York Knicks come into this game on a 3 game skid following a 4 game win streak in which they outscored their opponents by an average of 23ppg. Since January the Knicks have been very inconsistent and unable to play steady basketball for any long stretch. When they play well they win 4-5 games in a row and when they don't, they lose 4-5 games in a row. Tonight, they look to bounce back from a 94-90 home loss to a very good Portland squad in which they played well. New York is 4-0 ATS at home versus teams with a subpar road record (Denver 10-12). Believe it or not New York is still in contention for the Eastern Conference playoffs just 2.5 games behind the 8th seeded Bobcats. New York has played Denver tough this season, winning at home by 6 and losing by 2 in their most recent game at Denver.

817Minnesota -1, -110 (1.10 to win 1.0)

The Minnesota Timberwolves play their 2nd game of a short 2 game road trip tonight as they travel to New Orleans to face the Pelicans. F-Kevin Love has been upgraded to probable from questionable tonight which is good news for the Wolves. Minnesota has last their last 2 road games and look to get back on the winning track tonight, facing a Pelicans team who have played decently recently winning 6 of their last 9 games, following a 8 game losing streak. Minnesota is 10-4 against the line in their last 14 games following a loss and offensively have been very productive with Mr. Love in the lineup, ranking third in the league in scoring offense, 105.8ppg and third in the league in rebounding. For what it's worth Minnesota is also 11-5 against the line in their last 16 games when playing the day before the start of the weekend. Minnesota has won both games between these two teams this season by 11 and 12 points respectively, both being at home. I like the Wolves tonight with a very short line.

817Minnesota -1, -110 (1.10 to win 1.0) LOSS 91-98

F-Kevin Love has been upgraded to probable from questionable tonight which is good news for the Wolves. Minnesota has last their last 2 road games and look to get back on the winning track tonight, facing a Pelicans team who have played decently recently winning 6 of their last 9 games, following a 8 game losing streak. 508Minnesota -1, -110 (1.10 to win 1.0)

The Portland Trailblazers will try to salvage a split of their 4 game road trip tonight, visiting the Minnesota Timberwolves. Portland has been struggling on the road recently, losing their last 4 games and 5 of their last 6. During those 6 road games they have allowed 107 points per game. Portland is 1-4 against the line in their last 5 road games and 1-5 against the line versus the Western Conference. In December Portland was defeated in Minneapolis 120-109 in their only visit to the Target Center this season. This has become a important game for Minnesota, dropping 2 of their last 3, including a loss last night in New Orleans after a horrible showing in the 4th quarter. Minnesota show be able to score near their season average of 106 tonight as Portland has been far from superior on defense this season allowing 103 points per game.

A little bad luck tonight as both Love and Martin were very late scratches from the line up tonight for the Wolves. At the half they are playing well so we will have to see what happens.
