This is Maryland's last chance to score a big win. It is evident that the Terps can beat Purdue because they almost did before -- they lost the first meeting 55-58 at Purdue. They are well-equipped to handle teams that rely on a star center. Hence, they beat both Michigan and Indiana at home. Purdue also doesn't have the three-point shooting to make them pay for devoting extra attention to Purdue's center. On offense, the Terrapins will rely on various rim-attackers and talented inside scorers, such as Donta Scott, and guards like Jahmir Young who can replicate what Northwestern's point guard did to Purdue. While three-point shooting isn't their strength, they won't go 3-for-21 from deep as they did in the first meeting.
