In hockey you have 2 or 3 guys vying for 5 categories and how many others for 5?

I don't understand your point here.

In our Pucks-R-Us league we had our goalies going for [4] categories and in most other leagues they use a 5x5 scoring system. It's basically the same breakdown, but with many more players [pitchers] vieing for points. And if you allow the room for relief pitchers that shouldn't be a problem. Otherwise your wasting good pitchers on the waiver wire.

I disagree.

Should I come in and set this damn thing up and hold the dough as well?

seriously

Settings I'm most accustomed to

8 Position Players
1 DH/UTIL
2 SP
2 RP
3 P (any kind)

5 Bench slots can be used for any kind of player
1 DL (player must be on real world DL)

-----
And either:

a) No transaction limits, but 162 games max per Position amd 1400 max IP

b) No max games per position with a transaction limit (I suggest 80)

========
Failure to include one of the above caveats opens the door for a more intent manager to use his bottom couple of roster spots in constant rotation....literally one or two moves daily to make sure there's a couple of fresh SP throwing every day.

That results in his team getting literally hundreds of innings pitched more than the managers not willing to operate that non stop carousel. And he automatically wins the K and W categories

The same "non stop rotating of a couple positions" can also produce literally 100-200 extra "games" for position players which of course inflates all your offensive categories except BA

Too late B'man. We had our draft this evening. I forget what the settings were, but they seemed ok to me.

Also, jdigae--Thanks for setting this up. Hope it wasn't more work than expected.

This point was brought up before--You need to go in and change the start date to Week 2--otherwise half the teams start with Losses from last week
