If the Baltimore riots seem like a tired replay of Ferguson, there might be a good reason as to why.
A data mining firm with government ties that tracks social media reported that they uncovered a core group of accounts who appear to have driven much of the buzz and even more of the calls to actions by crowds on the ground.
The online activity of a few dozen of the same individuals were linked and timed with key moments in Baltimore and Ferguson, leading up to the most intense cases of both sustained demonstrations and episodes of violent riots in both of these cities.
An analysis of social media traffic in downtown Baltimore Monday has unearthed striking connections to the protests in Ferguson, Mo. last year, according to a leading data mining firm that shared its findings exclusively with Fox News. The firm, which asked to remain anonymous because of its government work, found between 20 and 50 social media accounts in Baltimore that were also tied to the peak period of violence in Ferguson. While further analysis is being conducted on the data, it suggests the presence of “professional protesters” or anarchists taking advantage of Freddie Gray’s death to incite more violence.
[…]
One account, which also tracked the recent union protests in New York City as well as other disturbances, tweeted photos of Gray’s funeral and used language that seemed to anticipate violence in Baltimore.
So the spread of violence has been linked to a few paid provocateurs and organized by a small handful of “professional protesters.” Now it is confirmed.
Despite the distance between demonstration locations in Maryland and Missouri, the data mining study identified a core node of perhaps 20-50 social media accounts involved in stirring mass reaction, with shocking examples of cries for violence and destruction not just from the voice of people like Michael Brown’s step father (who shouted ‘Burn this b*tch down’ after the Ferguson grand jury decision) or from random, anonymous riots, but from the accounts of some dedicated organizers on places like Twitter:
The discovery that some social media accounts were tied to cities 825 miles apart was described to Fox News as “surprising.” While it is possible to spoof accounts and make it appear as if someone is in one location when they are really in another, the data mining firm told Fox News that it can’t fully explain the numbers.
The implications adds weight to those who have been arguing that the events – though triggered by controversial and arguably shameful events – appear highly scripted and tightly coordinated… with the integrity of news coverage and the role of provocateurs, “professional protesters” and funding from agenda-driven figures like George Soros (who spent some $33 million funding protest groups) coming into question as they paint a larger picture.
In each case of outrage, mourning, peaceful demonstration, spill overs into violence and riots, martial law and crowd control push back or of false indignation by self-gratifying media figures, the tension between inner-city minorities and police, with examples of each overreaching, is striking and central to the debate.
The use of social media to fuel violence in Baltimore has already been highlighted by law enforcement. On Monday, police said an online call was issued for a “purge” at 3 p.m. ET, starting at Mondawmin Mall and ending in the downtown area. That type of threat is based on a movie called “The Purge,” the plot of which involves rampant lawlessness.
The Washington Times also reported Monday that law enforcement intelligenceofficials issued a warning after someone sent a text urging people to “kill all white police officers” in reaction to Gray’s death. The text has fueled fears that the violence in Baltimore could spread nationally, according to safety memos obtained by The Washington Times.
There is little doubt that a media campaign has been coordinated to use the civil unrest to attract viewership with a spectacle, while the political establishment has latched onto the events to advance an agenda. The extent to which the whole affair was planned remains unclear, but these social media findings point to a clear team of players central to it all.
While questions mount concerning who is steering the protests and deliberately giving stage to riots and violence, Baltimore Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake has come under fire for what seemed a Freudian slip in calling for police to give ‘space’ to ‘those who wished to destroy.’ Though she has claimed she was taken out of context, she was caught on camera stating:
“It’s a very delicate balancing act because while we try to make sure that they were protected from the cars and the other things that were going on, we also gave those who wished to destroy space to do that as well, and we work very hard to keep that balance and to put ourselves in the best position to de-escalate.”
President Obama has condemned the violence and demanded police officers involved in abuse be held accountable; Rev. Al Sharpton has planned a march from Baltimore to Washington, D.C.; meanwhile newly-sworn in Loretta Lynch, Eric Holder’s replacement as Attorney General, is just in time to carry the issue further with civil rights litigation.
Sharpton, a civil rights activist who sought the Democratic presidential nomination in 2004, hopes to organize a two-day march from Baltimore to Washington in May.
“The march will bring the case of Freddie Gray, Eric Garner, Walter Scott, Eric Harris to the new Attorney General, Loretta Lynch. Ms. Lynch, in her new role that we all supported, must look and intervene in these cases,” Sharpton said in a press release. “Justice delayed is justice denied.” (source)
Martial law has been prescribed as a remedy to civil unrest and riots, along with other scenarios including economic collapse and pandemic, and gives the system more power while exacerbating cries over the examples of abuse by the system, putting further pressure on society’s fragile order.
At this time, the National Guard has been deployed to Baltimore, but authorities insist that ‘martial law has not been declared,’ though one could be forgiven holding a different interpretation.
Nonetheless, with precedents established in emergency training drills, the events in Ferguson and the stunning reaches of both riots and martial law in dozens of cities back in the 1960s, escalation can only be expected, if not in Baltimore, then in the next city that is sure to follow.

Secret Service rush stage at Bernie Sanders rally 01:36
(CNN)At least four people at a Bernie Sanders rally in Oakland rushed the stage Monday evening, spurring Secret Service agents to jump onto the raised platform and protect him.
The Democratic presidential candidate was uninjured and continued speaking, but not before several agents hugged him and pushed him away from the microphone. The identities of the individuals, who yelled as they approached the stage, were not immediately known. They were apprehended and led away by Secret Service from the podium at the Frank Ogawa Plaza, where the rally was being held.
After the events of Monday night in Northern California, Sanders spokesman Michael Briggs said, "It was handled professionally by the Secret Service."
An animal rights group, Direct Action Everywhere, claimed responsibility for the disruption in a press release.
"Activists do not protest at Bernie Sanders rallies in opposition to Sanders himself, but rather to pull Sanders in their direction," the group's press release said. "Sanders' opponent Hillary Clinton recently released a campaign platform on animal issues, although it stops far short of what activists would like to see. Activists expect Bernie Sanders, the progressive candidate, to support more radical action to provide animals not just with improved conditions but with legal rights to be free from harm."
The Vermont senator began receiving Secret Service protection in early February during the early part of the presidential primary season, in his challenge to Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton.
It's not the first time in the 2016 campaign season that Secret Service have jumped on stage when commotion broke out around a protectee. In March a protestor jumped a barricade and tried to get on stage at a Donald Trump rally in Vandalia, Ohio, prompting Secret Service to react similarly by hopping on stage to shield the candidate.
Other security-related episodes have popped up around presidential candidates in recent months. In late April Donald Trump's motorcade was forced to stop along a freeway, and Trump walked down a path, to get to a state GOP convention, in Burlingame, California.
[h=2]SAN JOSE — A group of about 100 anti-Trump protesters tore up an American flag and chanted obscene slogans against the United States and presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump.[/h]“America was never great! Fuck Donald Trump and his hate!” they chanted, interspersed with shouts of “Mexican power!” and obscene chants in Spanish.
One man held a sign declaring “This is Mexico! You are not welcome on Native/Mexican Soil” (original emphasis) and accusing Trump of white supremacy. Later, as attendees left the venue, demonstrators attacked some of them, leaving one manbleeding.
Prior to Trump’s speech, several demonstrators waved Mexican flags, and a group of young men wore Mexican soccer uniforms. Breitbart News asked demonstrators why they were claiming America was not great — and whether they were afraid that doing so would cause more people to vote for Trump.
Most refused to answer. Some made threats. One woman said that the fact that Trump was the Republican nominee proved that America was not great. Another demonstrator, holding a handmade “America was never great” sign and a communist T-shirt, said he was not interested in discussing his views.
A few Trump supporters waded into the crowd to debate. One young man observed the ruckus while wearing a “Make America Great Again” hat. Another demonstrator arrived waving a “Feel the Bern” flag to show his support for Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT). More sedate protesters, including a family of four, left before the rowdiness began. Some Trump supporters attempted to stage small counter-demonstrations, including a small Hindu group holding a sign reading “Indians for Trump.” One woman shouted at the anti-Trump protesters through a megaphone, and was asked by beleaguered police — who were standing between the two groups — to move a distance away. Inside the San Jose Convention Center, several thousand Trump supporters cheered loudly in a cavernous tent with a deafening PA system as Trump took the stage. “Is this more fun than the basketball game?” he asked, referring to Game 1 of the NBA Finals, featuring the local Golden State Warriors. He noted that he expected victory in the June 7 California primary, but that it was important to maximize Republican turnout, to establish a “mandate.” He added that his vision of making America great included Latinos — that it would be “inclusive.” When a protester heckled him, Trump said: “Now, leave him alone. We’ve gotta be nice.” “Don’t hurt him. See the way I say that? I’ve learned. Don’t hurt him.” Trump also took the opportunity to respond to his likely Democratic rival, who attacked him in a speech in San Diego this morning that was billed as a foreign policy address. He reminded the audience that the Clintons had once “hated” Barack Obama, but were doing his bidding on the Iran deal and other topics because they feared prosecution. “The only reason she’s behaving like this, and the only reason she’s leaning so far left, is that she doesn’t want to go to jail over the e-mails!” Later, he repeated: “Hillary Clinton has to go to jail. She’s guilty.” He complemented Sen. Sanders, “Crazy Bernie,” for having the “second-biggest” audiences at his rallies. Trump added that he intended to put traditional Democratic states, such as California and New York, in play in November. “I think we can win California,” he said, to loud cheers. Trump also made an appeal to party unity against Clinton. “Ted Cruz is no longer a liar. We don’t say ‘Lyin’ Ted’ anymore. We love Ted,” he said, to cheers. No, Trump said — now it was “Lyin’, Crooked Hillary.” Interspersed with somewhat new attacks — such as listing price increases in Obamacare premiums — Trump also repeated familiar themes, such as his pledge to build a border wall and make Mexico pay for it. He closed with his signature line — and with the crowd chanting along: “Make America Great Again!” Update: The clashes between pro- and anti-Trump people continued as attendees exited the rally, including assaults by anti-Trump activists against Trump supporters:
Other protesters milled about, including some from the Service Employees International Union (SEIU): One man, shouting “Latinos for Trump!” confronted an anti-Trump protester, together with a group of women who had driven in from rural Tracy, California to attend the event.
Meanwhile, pickup trucks drove around and around, waving Mexican flags and blaring a viral anti-Trump rap song, “Fuck Donald Trump.” One man drove a pickup truck with an American flag mounted on the flatbed in response.
can you imagine the non stop outrage from ABC, NBC, CBS, MSNBC, CNN, NYT, WP, Time and every libtarded blogger on this planet if Republicans acted like this?
the scumbags actually try to blame Trump for this
never mind economic anchors, they're fucking societal anchors
the fucking scum should be saying gracias, instead they burn our flag
Burnng an American flag cannot be connected to anything Trump. Burning a flag is purely anti-American on the part of whoever burns it. Waving Mexican flags is absurd and anyone waving one should be checked out to see if they are legal or not. In the meantime, Liberals violate the first amendment doing this low life stuff. It shows how scum are directly connected to the Democratic party. If they are not connected to the Democratic party then the party should condemn their actions. Liberals condemn people who legally purchase weapons and want their rights to do so taken away whereas they do not condemn these protestors. Many of these protesters are paid professionals which brings out what Liberals are all about. Why can't they just stage their own independent rally's instead of staging protests. Free Speech is not in their vocabulary.
it's really going to get ugly if democrats don't reel their mobs in and if law enforcement doesn't crack down and start arresting them
Trump thugs will start to show up and then we'll see how brave the democratic mob is, we know they're brave when there's scores of them against one woman
