For those that oppose Prop 8, what are you really opposing? Just the "right" to say that they are married? By this prop not passing, gays did not lose their domestic partnership rights which still allow them to adopt children, include each other on insurance plans, etc.

Seems to me the religious related groups have more to lose than the gays have to gain.

BTW...the way the gays have been acting since their defeat, does that leave them open to be charged for hate crimes?

Curious as to what the religious groups have to lose...marriage is a contract issued by the government. What does religion have to do with it, Churches aren't forced to marry those who they don't approve of.

A buddy of mine married a Catholic Girl, he had to go to 3 different Churches before he found one that would marry them...as he was a non-catholic.

Religious affiliated adoption agencies could be sued for not allowing gay "married" couples to adopt. If church related facilites, halls, etc are denied to gays couples, the church could be subject to law suits. If a church were to hold a sermon on the abomonation of gay marriage, could it not be deemed a hate crime?

Believing correctly that homosexuality is immoral is neither hate
nor a crime.

Since when is having an opinion, and talking about it a crime in
this country?

I agree with you Zit, but the gays will argue that it's a hate crime since they are being singled out or discriminated.

That's the problem with this country, that EVERYBODY needs their share of the pie no matter how right or wrong they are.

Dear Gay Community,
I am in full support of the gay community's boycott of Utah. I ask only one thing. As a part of your boycott, could you please ask all your fellow perverts in Utah to participate in the boycott by moving out of state? That would be a "win win" in that there would be more sausage to suck and stale carpet to munch for you AND fewer demented perverts/chicken hawks trying to lure our children into thinking that anal sex between two sick perverts is an admirable way of life. What do you say? Here's what I say...
F--- You!,

Minorities dont want more minorities end of story. The gays need a Jesse Jackson and a Rev. Al to run their show. Richard Simmons here is your chance.
