It is a civil rights movement. The country will eventually come around. I don't get why people care so much. You're either gay or you're not. Nobody is going to become gay because gay marriage is allowed. Why discriminate against people because of how they were born?

If straight people can get "married" according to the government(s) than gays should be able to as well, but...of course, not by a religion (unless the religion wants to). However, I still firmly believe that government should not grant special rights or privileges to "marriage" and the government(s) should not be marrying anyone.
