Don't forget that all the gathering crowds since the inauguration have been in protest of Trump. The visuals would accordingly suggest that there are many more never Trumpers than Trump supporters. Even some in his party (McCain) would have you believe this. So I think that it was important to show how the groundswell for Trump has not diminished at all.
