Don't forget that all the gathering crowds since the inauguration have been in protest of Trump. The visuals would accordingly suggest that there are many more never Trumpers than Trump supporters. Even some in his party (McCain) would have you believe this. So I think that it was important to show how the groundswell for Trump has not diminished at all. To the contrary I believe that he is gradually bringing doubters onboard. That Florida crowd was a much needed visual to reestablish the fact that his support is massive and growing.

First- we don't know to what extent his Russian ties are, but if you don't think it potentially could be a major national security issue, then you my friend have fallen into the partisan bullshit....party over country.
