CNN reporting the former president could be days or even hours from dying.

Article on cnn.com (posted @ 11:06am) says "weeks or months".

Did they say "days or hours" on TV?

Big difference between the two. Just wondering if CNN got new info that hasn't been updated on their website/article yet.

He started a long-lasting movement of incompetent republicans leading America.

Some might call him visionary, I prefer to call it what it is - senile.

He's been dead for a few years now. A mental vegetable. Nancy won't let anyone see him except family.

Always sad to hear that anyone is going to go.

Hopefully Nancy Reagan will use the spotlight to show that simple stem-cell research could bring an end to this kind of suffering for many people in the future.

What a difference it makes when someone does something and has a certain way about him. He seemed like a class act and like he generally wanted to do good for America. Bush may or may not have the same things in mind but just the way he goes about doing things makes you not like him and not like the things he does. At least if your going to f~ck a group of people over do it with respect and in a way that will piss of the least amount of people. Our kids will have to live in this world after we are gone. That's why I hate Rumsfeld and his arrogant ways.

Alzheimers is an awful way to go

Ronald Reagan is 93 or 94, has Alzhiemer's and no longer recognizes his wife. Think "quality of life" issues here. It's sad to realize this, but perhaps it's his time to go.

Reagan was a Sh!t president who made the divide between rich and poor grow mor ein his 8 years than any other president has before or since.

His reagonomics and trickle down theories only made the rich richer. Anyone remeber october 1987???

Brock has a point, but in fairness at least he didn't suck anywhere as bad as Bushie I - II.

The gap between the richest and poorest was greater under Clinton than it was under Reagan. Neither one should get the blame; one-parent families is the main cause. As long as one parent families keeps increasing, so will the gap between the richest and the poorest. It is more of a social problem than an economic problem.

Brock, if you are going to point the finger at Reagan for October 1987 crash you need to give him credit for boom that took place between the time he took office to the time he left; in Jan 1981 the Dow was about 900. In 1987 (after black Monday) it was about 1900. Reagan's last month in 1989 the market was about 2200.
