While the site goes down in rare instances, no other site has a cleaner format and more meaningful dialogue than the rx

i come here everyday, but i dont see what the big deal is when it is down. i wouldnt consider this a place that helps people make money, only a place to build ego's, jumpstart a tout business and raise advertising dollars.
this site is pure entertainment only, much like the news programs that i stopped watching many years ago.
i come here to get some laughs, but if i ever relied on the rx to help my bankroll, i would be in for a rude awakening.

Exactly it is much more helpful for the sites to work together than for some MOD to come into your thread & delete the info that you are trying to share...what is the point...do you not think they can easily find out? seems silly to me....Site should stay # 1 on it's merits...not by trying to hide other posting forums?
( we dont try to hide other forums SS, you can advertise anything u like in the Site Promotions area.....We do not allow links, urls, or web addresses in the sports forums, to eliminate the wanna be touts, and etc..)

Then what about the cola wars, Coke machines in Pepsi ads, and Pepsi machines in Coke ads.
A little competition never hurts anyone, and that site doesn't tout anything.

hey grogan, i see were neighbors as im in connecticut.
i read my post over again and i could see i had a bit of an edge to my writing after the boise state game. the nc state game hasnt put me in the mental state i need to be either right now but i will try.
for instance, i watch two television shows a week, the sopranos and "24", i dont expect to get anything out of those shows except a few hours of escapism. i dont think im really learning anything about the inner workings of a counter terrorism unit or a real mafia family out of new jersey. but i love watching those shows as the characters are awesome.
anyways that is what this place is for me. when you are only connected by internet cables, the only way i can think of the people here are as "characters", some are more interesting than others but they all play a part and i enjoy it. i spend most of my time in the rubber room or the offshore books and occasionally in the political area where there are some seriously brainwashed individuals but i love reading what they write.
also i belong to another forum where im constantly updating information thruout the day and during the lulls i sneak in here to see what is going on and try to forget about the games that are on tv
in addition when i first started here many months ago, i noticed people forgot to include the losers from the nite before in their records or they mysteriously bought the half point to get the push or win or. one capper has my exact games on a night basis as i would expect he uses the same service i do, but he claims them as his own. as for the write ups, i dont know dick about college basketball but im pretty confidant that i could write up either side and make it sound convincing. im sure there are pretty sharp people here but i really dont want to spend the time finding out who without a better system of verifying who are truly legit.
i didnt mean to jump in your thread to make a point but it seemed to have happened, so lets move on.
as for your comment about the "sharps" im not really sure what you mean but i imagine you looked up some prior posts of mine. keep in mind i use sarcasm more than most people and what you could take as my opinion might just be me having a laugh; im quite a character.
