I know it's a bit premature but here are the lines for the first round of the English Premier League:

Portsmouth vs Aston Villa 0 : 0.25 2.10 : 1.83
Arsenal vs Everton 0 : 1.25 2.05 : 1.87
Birmingham vs Tottenham Hotspur 0 : 0.25 2.10 : 1.83
Blackburn vs Wolverhampton 0 : 0.75 1.91 : 2.00
Charlton vs Manchester City 0 : 0 1.80 : 2.15
Fulham vs Middlesbrough 0 : 0.25 2.10 : 1.83
Leeds United vs Newcastle 0 : 0 2.00 : 1.91
Liverpool vs Chelsea 0 : 0.5 2.10 : 1.83
Manchester United vs Bolton 0 : 1.5 2.00 : 1.91
Leicester vs Southampton 0 : 0 1.87 : 2.05

At first sight I like Aston Villa +0.25 @ 1.83 and Charlton pk @ 1.80.

Of course the first couple of rounds are dangerous betting objects and a lot of things can happen before 16th August, but do you guys see anything you like?

Liverpool have been coming out firing the first few weeks of the past 2 seasons, i hope this trend continues.

Off the top of my head Ducks, (and I haven't seen or even looked for the latest transfer\team news):

I always have a preference for the new kids on the block, at least in the first few games. I think it's the case that it takes the old boys a while to work the new boys out and while I wouldn't trust Harry Redknapp with a junior school eleven, bless 'im, I think he might have too much for Graham Taylor's pupils.
OK, so Portsmouth have signed the talentless Teddy but with luck. he'll be sitting on the bench.
And long may he reign there!
