We continue to bring you our NFL predictions on the 2014 season. Today we are looking at the AFC East where we predict that it will be the same ole story. Your champions will be the New England Patriots as has been the case for the greater part of a decade. New England has benefitted greatly from their greatness as well as the attrition of the rest of this conference. The Dolphins have a contract with mediocrity, the Jets have been a freak show and the Bills have been wholly insignificant. Not much of that will change in 2014. However, we are predicting that the bottom will fall out in New York and Rex Ryan will be shown the door at season’s end. The revolving door of quarterback candidates has never been a recipe for success in this league and now the Jets have added Michael Vick. New York has not won a ton but they have been interesting. We think the soap opera airs it’s final episode this year. We also feel the Dolphins will take their rightful seat at the Mendoza line where they have felt comfortable for the last four Presidents of the U.S. and the Bills will make an ever so slight improvement. Bottom line though is that it’s the Pats again.
