Posting of Standings

Hey.....

With all due respect, is there any way to get the standings posted in a more timely manner ??

I guess I got spoiled by the way things went last season.....when standings were usually posted shortly after the last game of the night was completed. I know that was unusual and it's unrealistic to expect that.....but I gotta say that when it takes as long as it has generally been taking this season, it takes a lot of the excitement out of this contest.....at least for me.

I'm not trying to turn this into a "thing" so please don't turn this thread into a bitchfest. Like I said....it's just a respectful request that IF POSSIBLE the standings get posted quicker than they have been.

absolutely zapster.....

my wife has been transferred to montreal, so I am shopping for a house there and i have had a heck of a time trying to find one. I have been driving back and forth almost every day (4 hours), so I have been out of it this past month. Finally I thought it was all done, we put an offer on a house, and the inspection report came back with problems so I had to resume my search.

Just got back from another trip there just moments ago, and I think we are in business this time.

Im not making excuses, I just wanted to let u know whats been going on

HINT:

best way to avoid a bitchfest, is to email the contest moderator if you have a problem with a particular contest, rather than post and make them look bad or put them on the spot. Probably would get better results that way.

Zapster--I know what you mean--I have wanted to day something as well. SS does a hard and quality job--just very time consuming.

At this point in the contest where you stand should have ABSOLUTELY no bearing on your selections anyways. I could see the issue if this was late September, but it's not. It's a non issue.

For me it has no bearing on my selections. I never said it did. All I was saying was that from my own perspective it makes the contest more exciting to have the standings posted in a timely manner. On the other hand, now that you mention it, for those near the top for the month of July, it might have quite a bit of bearing.

Again though.....it was not my intention to call SportSavant out on this. I didn't realize he had a real life situation to deal with. I wish him luck finding a place.
