is NW a majority POW

received some calls and emails regarding the NW and Hawaii game, and if NW is a majority pick

to be a majority pick requires two elements:

1 - the majority of the pow must have that side
2 - the line must move in the same direction as the POW. eg if the line opened at -6- and was now seven it would be a pure majority pick. but in the case of nw the line opened at NW -6- and is now 6. game is still 6 hours from kick off an some touts could still call the game one way or the other, or one of the other late games could be as well.

i call it as soon as i see a clearer pattern

NW is now -6-, and could become a majority pow on the last official game of the season for this thread.

i have three books, all three had northwestern -5

that was at 7pm though.

truely check bodog

check bodog, still 6-, and wsex closed as -6, makes no diff, nw is not a majority pow for tonight, and closing line will be -6-, been using bodog so that all could see the closing lines.

thread is now closed for the year.

i'll posts the week #13 and 2004 capper stats tomorrow, and give out the pow oscars sometime tomorrow.
