I'd say in the 40-45 range as well is when you are getting older ;. My youngest daughter now 34, hates to be called Ma'am, I tell her it is just respectful, now calling an eldery or oldish lady, young lady can be disrespectiful unless coming from a Southern gentlemen, then it's like driving miss Daisy.
At Wal Mart , I witnessed a young white guy , like 30 , calling my senior coworker ( like 70 ), Mom, that wasn't cool at all, but something you encounter, I felt it was rude, but I guess no different than call me Pops ?

The When is middle age question always bothered me, my 1st X-wife , still alive , was fond of saying age is just a number.

Well Justin there have have been plenty of Hollywood type chicks that were hot as hell at like 22, and looked like crap at 35 !...say a Sally Struthers, for one.
There are plenty of sexy 40-60 yo ladies, but most lose it at 45-50 whatever.
Doesn't mean they don't get a comparably aged guy like me, they just lost their muster, as did I.
Start looking old and looks changing are two different things. Things change around 23 but looks change significantly 5 years after. Womens looks are in their soft smooth skin and their firmness. And the more beautiful you are the more flaws will be noticeable as you age. This is why we notice women aging more. If you are a guy 30 or older if we are honest you would want a girl who looks 20 but has the world experience and personality of a 30 year old
I had a high school girlfriend that was really cute...not really beautiful. I ran into her in the mall a couple
of years ago and she was absolutely beautiful for her age.
Flipside, I had a girlfriend in college that was A 1 beautiful. I saw her at a college football game 5 years
ago and she (and I'm sorry to say, nice lady) looked terrible (ugly). I couldn't believe it was her.
