The Bensalem Township Police Department is asking for the public's help in identifying two men who robbed a 73-year-old woman in the Parx Casino parking lot over the weekend.
About 8:20 p.m. Sunday, the woman was walking in the casino parking lot when a man ripped her purse from her shoulder and ran toward Mechanicsville Road, police said Wednesday. The suspect stole an undisclosed amount of money and the woman's cellphone.
Police said two suspects were involved in the robbery and had followed the woman from inside the casino. The suspects were driving a silver 2007 Audi Q7 with a New Jersey registration of K52GEN and are believed to be from the Newark area, police said.
Anyone with information about the men is asked to contact Bensalem police at 215-633-3719.
