Indianapolis police are on the hunt for up to eight suspects after 70 shots were fired into the home of Colts assistant coach Parks Frazier on Monday.
Frazier was not home at the time of the shooting, during which eight males in three cars pulled up to the house and opened fire, with round also fired from the rear door, which had been kicked in, witnesses told police.
There have been no arrests or possible motives established, though rifle and handgun casings were found in the street and a cellphone belonging to one of the suspects was dropped at the scene.
Frazier, 26, is an assistant to Colts head coach Frank Reich, entering his second season with the team. His rise to the pro ranks came after a collegiate career playing quarterback at Murray State, followed by low-level staff stints at Samford University, Middle Tennessee State and Arkansas State.
