It could be in a home game, I've actually seen that.If you make a rule saying that counts then it beats 3 of a kind. In a casino/ normal game, no.

In Ireland that's a small straight (4 cards). Only beats a pair.

Not a straight anywhere I have ever played poker. Can use the ace for a a2345 or 10jqka straight, but can not overlap the two. Good luck

I just played $20.00 on 5dimes and lost and probably wont play again...too boring and confusing for me...will just stick w/ my baccarat

Its the game I have made the most $$ on..compared to BJ and Craps...for me its the easiest card game there is.

I remember the last time I was in Vegas at The Wynn hotel...was playing Bacarat and this guy comes in and sits next to me and gets $75k in chips...now keep in mind I was playing at the $300 per hand table...he just starts rolling his $$. 1st bet 5k on player..next bet 10k on player and so forth...within 2 hours he had 2.5 mil and just got up and walked out. The dealer says they he would usually lose that 75k but that night he was on a roll and he helped me make some mad cash..

Was he drinking skim milk? Yeah that whale was probably Dante showing off again. I never played it but remember an acquaintance telling me the casino's in Vegas were taking it up the ass on the game. This was a couple of years ago though, might be different now. I think it's the game with one of the lower house edges, is that right? Might have to try it once just for the hell of it.

Its is a game w/ the lower house edge...thats why the stakes are usually high and most that play the game are oriental because they know the house has a lower edge. Next time in Vegas take a look at the Bacarat room and you will notice more orientals than any other race that play the game
