As in all things poker related...it depends. First you should decide what is important to you (i.e. number of games, easy games, tournamanets, software, cashouts, promotions, etc.). Then you can choose a room.

I've tried probably a half dozen of these places and Party Poker is the best balance of all things I need in a room. With that said, if Party closed tomorrow I would probably head to Pokerstars (assuming that I was still playing online).

First online room I played. Tough games, very good software appearance, and was once the leader in the space. They are currently running a promo for their recently added multitable tournaments.

I haven't played there in a VERY long time since Party and PokerStars have everything I need. I don't know what it is but either I play differently or the cards fall differently at that site. PokerStars has better competition and I would rather play there than at Paradise. IMHO.

BTW, why did you ask about Paradise versus the one of the other dozens of rooms?

You and I are not the only two who are "leary" of the site. They are probably legit but something just doesn't seem right about the way the cards fall there. As I often say, if it doesn't seem right, just don't play there.

I need to have my name taken off their mailing list since I'm often tempted to redeposit "just to see" if things still seem strange. It's hard for me to believe that their software deals the cards in anything other than a random fashion.

It's a shame because I would love to play Crazy Pineapple or Lowball.

Good luck at Party. If they would improve their software and service the site would be the nuts. Look for Dante and General's weekly Rx game.
