Guys and Gals its time to close another chapter in this book...as some of you who read my 500k report will recall i spent the entire tourny balled up on the floor screaming in pain..this was only 4 days after my neck pain which ive battled for 2 months got much better (-$1100 to a neck clinic) and 3 days after the state of Louisiana virtually bankrupted me..tomorrow morning ill write a $700 bad check that i'll have about 3 days to make good and 12 days from now ill need $800 more or ill be homeless.....in other words im up shit creek with no paddle....i wake up this morning and im doubled over again in extreme pain.....10 hrs in the hospital and 1 cat scan later.....I've got Kidney Stones...

So tomorrow if i sign on at all it will be under a new name..probably Allyn Long..its time to retire PPP. Its been a curse since the 1st day i made it up and i never was able to live up to the title in any way shape or form. actually i have no buisness being here at all now, a gambling website and my flat broke ass....they dont let broke bums in casinos and i see no differance in myself right now...ill still be at Intertops nightly till they close it and i got a few bucks left in a cpl different sites but for the most part i'm done...hopefully in a few months or so ill be back up and running and can feel like i belong here again, but for now ill take a seat on the back row and cheer the rest of you on....

Good Luck , Allyn

Just a friendly suggestion, but how about trying NL cash games instead of playing all of those tournaments. Being a successful tournament player is so much harder than being a successful cash game player.

You seem to play a game that would translate well to cash games. And instead of trying to beat a field of 2,000, all you need is one fool at a table and you can pay your bills for the week.

When you make enough money playing cash games, you can take a few bucks out to buy into the occasional tournament.

I know alot of people love the lure of possibly winning a big tourney and taking down 50,000, but that is not a sound method (for most) if you want to make a living playing poker.

just a suggestion, good luck and stay healthy.

I agree with primetime, with a limited bankroll, you may want to try cash games with rakeback, a very easy way to build a nice bankroll.

We'd all be interested in your "solution," Pokerguy. Why not just post it?

And are you still working on your mysterious project which required you to pump us all for information without explaining how you were going to use it?
