What are their priorities? I’m sure a pay raise would not be pushed aside ⛳️

GOP leaders are discussing a bill that would keep federal agencies funded until mid-December, an idea in line with what Democrats have said they would support. The new proposal under discussions being led by House Speaker Mike Johnson (R., La.) could get a vote early next week and then head to the Democratic-run Senate.

It leaves out any election-related provisions, which Democrats had called a poison pill.

of course….. Drain the ponds that lead to the swamp. Elections are the only time your voice is heard.

Trump told Johnson to shut the Gov't down right before the election, Johnson was warned by a solid core of republicans across the ideological spectrum, do not allow a vote, we will kill the CR tied to Trumps save act..

Johnson pressed ahead anyway and the bill was killed just as the republicans advised. Humiliated, Trump and Johnson have backed off the save act/CR and now are backed into a corner, forced to accept whatever the democrats will agree to.

Johnson will not be speaker after Nov 5th, my guess he will quite congress, being speaker was way out of his league, it's been one humiliation after another.
