I asked about this capper a while ago but the thread is no where to be found. I was doing some more research and came across an article in the bleacherreport where the author says that psb is a good source and that his picks are monitored. Does anybody know where he is monitored?

Beating the point spread is not as easy as one may think. Many football and
basketball fans who follow these sports closely think that they can beat the
spread just by following these sports on tv and internet. You can read and
look up all the articles, reports on injury/weather/statistics etc but it is
not enough to beat the point spread in the long run. This is because
sportsbooks are very resourceful--if you heard something on tv or read it on
the internet, sportsbooks know about it long before you. So, to beat the
point spread, there are many other things to consider. Below are some of the
key points.</p>
<p style="outline-width: 0px; outline-style: initial; outline-color: initial; font-size: 15px; vertical-align: baseline; -webkit-background-clip: initial; -webkit-background-origin: initial; line-height: 1.5; border: 0px initial initial; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 15px; padding: 0px; background: url('http://bleacherreport.com/articles/initial') initial initial initial">
<strong style="outline-width: 0px; outline-style: initial; outline-color: initial; font-size: 15px; vertical-align: baseline; -webkit-background-clip: initial; -webkit-background-origin: initial; border: 0px initial initial; margin: 0px; padding: 0px; background: url('http://bleacherreport.com/articles/initial') initial initial initial">
Knowing the difference between the "favorites."</strong><span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>When
I say favorite there are two types: The first one is the team favored to win
the match and the other favorite is in terms of betting public. The favorite
that I am talking about is the bettors favorite. For example, if a team A is
favored by many -5 points against Team B, then Team A is the favorite but if
majority of the bettors are backing Team B to cover the spread, then Team B
is the bettors popular picks and thus bettors favorite. If you cannot tell
which team is favored by the betting public, then it is highly unlikely that
you will win in the long run.</p>
<p style="outline-width: 0px; outline-style: initial; outline-color: initial; font-size: 15px; vertical-align: baseline; -webkit-background-clip: initial; -webkit-background-origin: initial; line-height: 1.5; border: 0px initial initial; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 15px; padding: 0px; background: url('http://bleacherreport.com/articles/initial') initial initial initial">
<strong style="outline-width: 0px; outline-style: initial; outline-color: initial; font-size: 15px; vertical-align: baseline; -webkit-background-clip: initial; -webkit-background-origin: initial; border: 0px initial initial; margin: 0px; padding: 0px; background: url('http://bleacherreport.com/articles/initial') initial initial initial">
Watching and understanding line movement.</strong><span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>Watching
the line from the instant it opens is very important. Without reading any
reports on injuries, weather etc. you can tell a lot just by watching the
lines. The reports and article are just secondary tools. So if you find a
line movement that is tempting you to bet on a certain team, find out what
caused the line to move. Lines can move for various reason such as injuries,
change in weather or just because of the volume of money coming from the
bets.</p>
<p style="outline-width: 0px; outline-style: initial; outline-color: initial; font-size: 15px; vertical-align: baseline; -webkit-background-clip: initial; -webkit-background-origin: initial; line-height: 1.5; border: 0px initial initial; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 15px; padding: 0px; background: url('http://bleacherreport.com/articles/initial') initial initial initial">
<strong style="outline-width: 0px; outline-style: initial; outline-color: initial; font-size: 15px; vertical-align: baseline; -webkit-background-clip: initial; -webkit-background-origin: initial; border: 0px initial initial; margin: 0px; padding: 0px; background: url('http://bleacherreport.com/articles/initial') initial initial initial">
Learning to spot trap games.</strong><span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>These
are games with lines that look too good to be true. These games will always
have a side that is heavily favored by the public and often the public will
lose this bet. It is important to learn to spot these lines and bet on the
opposite side or avoid betting this game all together. For example, if you
see a 6-0 college football ball team playing a 0-6 team where 0-6 team is
favored by 2 points, it is usually a trap. That is just a very simple
example but there are many forms of trap and you must learn to spot them.</p>
<p style="outline-width: 0px; outline-style: initial; outline-color: initial; font-size: 15px; vertical-align: baseline; -webkit-background-clip: initial; -webkit-background-origin: initial; line-height: 1.5; border: 0px initial initial; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 15px; padding: 0px; background: url('http://bleacherreport.com/articles/initial') initial initial initial">
<strong style="outline-width: 0px; outline-style: initial; outline-color: initial; font-size: 15px; vertical-align: baseline; -webkit-background-clip: initial; -webkit-background-origin: initial; border: 0px initial initial; margin: 0px; padding: 0px; background: url('http://bleacherreport.com/articles/initial') initial initial initial">
Being Selective with the games.</strong><span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>You
cannot win in the long run if you try to bet as many games as possible. Your
goal is to eliminate as many games as possible and bet only the select few
games where you you managed to find an "edge"</p>
<p style="outline-width: 0px; outline-style: initial; outline-color: initial; font-size: 15px; vertical-align: baseline; -webkit-background-clip: initial; -webkit-background-origin: initial; line-height: 1.5; border: 0px initial initial; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 15px; padding: 0px; background: url('http://bleacherreport.com/articles/initial') initial initial initial">
Finally, the best asset to beating the point spread consistently in the long
run is<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span><strong style="outline-width: 0px; outline-style: initial; outline-color: initial; font-size: 15px; vertical-align: baseline; -webkit-background-clip: initial; -webkit-background-origin: initial; border: 0px initial initial; margin: 0px; padding: 0px; background: url('http://bleacherreport.com/articles/initial') initial initial initial">inside
information</strong>. Usually you can get good information if you have
friends in the team staff or if you are friends with players. sportsbooks
have the best inside information and therefore having connections with some
sportsbook staff is a major asset. If your network of friends is limited,
you can use well connected sports handicappers like<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span><strong style="outline-width: 0px; outline-style: initial; outline-color: initial; font-size: 15px; vertical-align: baseline; -webkit-background-clip: initial; -webkit-background-origin: initial; border: 0px initial initial; margin: 0px; padding: 0px; background: url('http://bleacherreport.com/articles/initial') initial initial initial">Pointspreadbeater</strong><span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>to

His picks
are documented since 2006 and during this period his overall success rate is
roughly around 63% give or take 15%.

Monitors are as bad as the touts and usually are touts themselves. Monitors are well known for letting the tout call in his games after they are over...

An ad claiming to hit over 63% over 6 years has the same credibility as a Nigerian Lottery Winner Announcement....
