Podolski is starting, Frings is not. Both are good news for Portugal backers.

I backed portugal but Podolskis looked as dangerous as anybody on the german side why is his being in good news? Frings being out is great.

Despite scoring, I don't think Podolski has had a good tournament and his injured calf will slow him down even more.
