I am the worst baseball capper in the world. Well second worst behind MFG. Please explain to me the value in playing Oakland -180 tonight. Two pitchers with eras under 2 the last 3 outings , and Minn is hitting .311 against righties last 10 , hitting way better then Oakland. What am I missing that makes this line so high.

Last I remember, Hudson was beat twice in the playoffs by the Twinkies. Hudson would be tough to beat, but it is great value.

Minnesota +164
Pitchers: Reed/Hudson
Minnesota has been about as solid away (12-8) as Oakland is at home (16-5). Reed has been even hotter his last 3 starts (.72 WHIP, 1.40 ERA) than Hudson (.79 WHIP, 1.50 ERA). The Twins have been hitting better their last 10 games (.313) compared to Oakland (.247). Minnesota is hotter, winning 7 of their last 10 compared to Oakland winning 6 of their last 10. Hudson lost 2 of 3 starts versus Minny last season, and Oakland is coming off 3 losses in 5 games, 1 to Detroit and 2 to Cleveland. Minny is too good to be this much of a dog.
