Should have played this yesterday at 13. Was hoping to get a better number but it backfired.
Fairfield matches up well offensively vs Monmouth. They love to shoot the 3 ball and Monmouth will let them as they play a lot of zone. Even when they switch to man to man, Fairfield is very good at driving and dishing. I expect a better defensive performance then their first meeting with Monmouth in CT. They have since shored up some things and are playing better defensively and rebounding better. I think this is a good spot for Fairfield, coming off a loss to Quinnipiac, to take a shot at knocking off the conference favorite in Monmouth.
