Not so fast on UCF... VA Tech returns it's best tailback in Kevin Jones, has an experienced QB in Bryan Randall (with lil' Vick waiting in the wings), Beamer claims he has a faster D this year, you know they will dominate special teams, it's at home, and all the big time schools playing sleepers at home have rolled (Miami, Fla, OU).
UCF is always a threat to be a giant killer, and they return the MAC QB of the year last year in Schneider, but only have 4 startes back, meaning that he will have no time to throw the ball, and might not have anyone to throw to.
I think the Hokies break this open in the second half and win by 28. Beamer has made it a point in the public to say he will NOT look past this game and he will make sure that his team is up to play.
One side note, weather might be a factor as there is a possibility of showers the entire weekend. Take a look prior to kick off, this would favor a ground game like VA Tech, and hurt the passers in UCF.
