To tell you the truth, I am shocked that SICK GAMBLER is even allowed to post on ANY forum, ANYWHERE!!

Because of him, he makes it tougher on everyone to get a payout. Now we have to show ID, bith cert., picture of our money naked, etc.

Raiders, that sounds like he is referring to Sick's case more than this one. This one is dfferent all the way around. They placed over 27 bets between them and only bet once on the same game. The game they did the two players lost. That is the evidence here in favor of confiscation of funds. When the player started to get his money out is when an investigation ensued. At that point the book discovered two accounts belonging to him and his brother once bet the same game. Because of that finding the money is being held, no other reason.

This is not about anyone's personal opinion on scalping or bonus whoring. The question is does the book have the right to keep the $7000 based on what they are telling us. They believe one man is operating the two accounts and want to keep the money. According to the player there are some books going to speak up that they have spoken to both him and his brother. He even offerred to do that for me tonight though I declined. Let's see how it plays out but basically we have a player trying to prove his innocence rather then really answering any accussations.

As Halifax said and I agree, keep his bonus and make him pay the fees but there is not near enough for an account confiscation here IMO. At no point did he ever scam them out of anything, even they admit that. They believe there is something fishy with them because of previous disputes these guys were involved in.

I don't quite understand what the dipute is then. As I said early in this thread, why don't they just pay them and kick them out?? There's really no reason they should be holding the $$$ anyways. the book will do as they please but it seems pretty cut and dry if you ask me.

Valdosta - you could be right, LOL. For a lot of reasons. You have two guys who have the same name except for the middle which is common where they are from. They live on the other side of the world and they don't speak English very well. The problem is worse actually because they use their real names. One of these guys was told long ago you would actually have less trouble if you made up a name rather than use your real name. Ironic that it would be easier to fake your information than be upfront about it all.

I don't think this book falls into the category but some take advantage of these factors. Yahoops would always stiff guys from the Far East and if nothing came up on the forums he would never pay them. Some of that squeeky wheel stuff I guess. Anyway let's hope we can put this one to bed in the next few days.

There is no way in hell anyone could justify stronger countermeasures by the book than what Halifax suggested ie. withholding the bonus money, paying out the rest and booting the guy.

Withholding the rest of the money is outright stealing. After all, even if I had only one account, why couldn't I place a middle if I wanted to? Bookies should be happy if people bet both sides of the same game. And if they give bonuses which give the player an advantage by middling, then there is something wrong with the bonus policy.

I would say it's strictly a business decision by the book to take the strongest countermeasure (Halifax's suggestion) or something lighter. Beyond that we're in unethical territory IMO.

The evidence for the book in this case seems weak although it appears that the player(s) is up to no good.

The best decision for the book would be to pay the man the balance of his account (including bonus if it has been earned) and boot his ass. If he has not met the bonus requirements withhold that amount and deduct any fees incurred.

Regarding my opinion of paying the bonus if earned, IMHO, the book should have to pay some penalty for 1) not being able to PROVE that the player did something wrong and 2) accepting accounts for players whom they were warned about by the person referring them to the book. IDIOTS!!!

Blockbusterbets should be aware of this. Also, I am also certain that my brother had placed bets both online and over the phone. So BBB should have both of our IP addresses.

If both of us are in collusion, we would middle most of our games instead of just one game. Even if we want to middle, we would not choose the same book. Would you? And it doesn't really make sense when we were both referred by oldfriend, signs up at the same time and placed on both sides of the game, waiting for the book to accused us of collusion. Only a fool would do this!

I understand that in the past we had had problems with 3 books about the same issue, but I feel that among the three, sportsinteraction was the one who really take advantage of our situation.

It was resolved later cos Scott discovered he made a mistake. In the end, i did post up 2500 with them and my brother did not even called up to get the referral bonus.
BHB - Scott was ripped off by an advertising agent who claimed that I had a part in the scam, JUST based on the agent giving him my name. But he did not have concrete evidence that I had actually done it and had allowed me to continue to use his book. A truly stand-up guy! If you are the agent, would u tell scott that I had ripped u off the money or would u find a scapegoat? Furthermore, it is easy to get someone's name on the net and I guess I was chosen cos I am living on the other part of the planet.

We had actually used our OWN names cos we are independent of each other and we have nothing to hide. One of us could have easily made up a name which is entirely different to each other and this problem would not arise. But we DID NOT cos we have nothing to hide and most books have no problem with this. Both of us are currently using gamblersavenue(Freddie), Royalsports(Kenneth), Sportsbettingtrivia(John), to name a few. And they do not have any prolem with that at all.

Jazz, we are of 2 different identity staying in 2 different homes, using 2 different computer to place bets.

I don't think we aren't clever in handling of this situation, else my brother would not be in this shit! I think using another name would be the best solution.

If a book asks me whether I know the person by the name of so-and-so, I would readily ackowledge that was my brother, as I had always did.

Someone told me this book might have money problem, so i requested $5000 on 23/Auguest to get hold of their money in neteller to reserve for me, My balance stand at $12592.22. Their payout limit is $250/per day..YES, IS $250/PER DAY, Only Monday their payout limit is $5000. Look at the above transaction on 23/Augest...They declined my payout request...I send the request again and called them up, i asked them why they declined my payout request??? They said they only can pay me the $5000 on Monday. After a few talk they agree to pay me $2500 on the same day(23/Augest), and will pay me the other $2500 on 26/Augest, because they running out of funds. I asked that guy, if you don't have money in the neteller after paying me the first $2500, why my second payout request still under pending? He refuse to answer this question. After finish talking to the guys, i cancelled my pending $2500. On 26/Augest i requested $2500, but the transaction cannot go thru, so i lower the amount, finally the transaction go thru at $2100, after a few hours, i login to my neteller account and found that they declined my request again....I feel something is wrong somewhere, so i called them up and finally get pay the $2100. I asked Alex to pay me another $5000 on next Monday(1/Sept), but he told me he can only pay me $2500 every Monday start from 1/Sept...i agree on that with no choice, alex ask me will i still bet at his book, i said "NO", because if i win i don't know weather i can get my money. I asked him will he still betting with the book, if the books seem like having money problem?? He agreed with me on "no point betting with the book that might have money problem. When the days(1/sept) come, i get notting from them, i called and called them to ask for my money, This time Alex admit they got money problem, but will pay me all my money. He offer me a payout plan...$500/per week until i get all my money($7592.22). Again, i got no other option and accepted their payout plan, but i want him to pay me $500 that week, because since they promised me they will pay me $2500, alex agree and told me i will get the $500 on 27/Augest....ANOTHER RUN AROUND...I called them a lot of time in a day to bug them for my money, they gave me a date so on so on....EXCUSESE...ALOT AND ALOT.

This is the whole story...Fvk...really ****ing tough for me to type all this....Took me half an hour to do that.
