Playoff time, the matchups, and home ice - I would say a combination of the 3. Like tonight you have some of the better teams playing the worst teams, so that is why you have lines of -370 and -400. That is Washington and Detriot and they are both playing on Home Ice and playoff positioning is at stack. The game that really looks good tonight is the Devils/Blackhawks. The lines are pretty tight in that game. I almost took New Jersey as my pick at +105 I thought there was some good value there but the Hawks on home ice look scary. The over/unders are almost better value the last few weeks of the season. NYI/Detriot would be a good Under tonight as well at under 6 goals -105. Not much juice there. I think the Caps on the puck line for -125 is pretty generous myself especially after an Overtime loss last night in Montreal. I see the Caps winning 4-2, 5-2 type of game. Washington's goaltending is the only thing that scares me right now but I see the offense putting the puck in a bunch tonight.

Tough Loss with Dallas in OT. Seemed like they were playing from behind all night, and when it went into OT I thought they had a decent chance of pulling this game out of their ass. The streak to start this thread has ended I have went about 50% in my last 14 or so plays. I need to start getting a streak going. I will be back later with today's pick.

Huge game tonight for both Anaheim and Edmonton, this one is going to be one you won't want to miss. I like the Oilers at home and don't think the pressure will get to them. I think Anaheim will be feeling the pressure here on the road and come up short. 3-1, 3-2 type of game. Should be a great one.
