Oh come on, we'll all forget after time. Right now it's fresh and people are pissed. But everyone has forgotten about the week 2 SD-DEN debacle and that was worse because it did affect the outcome of the game not just the point spread.

Bottom line is - officiating this year has been horrendous but in the end, time passes, we win a few back and we forget about it.

you missed the point. The obvious fix would have never had to occur and nobody would have said anything about 13 penalties against Pit and 1 against SD.

Had Willie Parker gone up the middle and the blantant hold had not occurred on the TD run, I guarantee a holding penalty would have been called there.

How about he PI call vs Pit early in the game that resulted in the a 1st and goal at the 2.

I even argued against the Super Bowl being fixed and I had Seattle, but no I must remove myself from the Coma that I have been in and finally after 20 years have realized that some of these games are fixed in terms of the point spread.

There is corruption in religion, politics, the financial sector but gambling and pro sports have no corrruption?

Why would you argue the Super Bowl not being fixed? Phantom pass interference calls, Big Ben down before he crosses the goal line and they cll it a touchdown even after it's reviewed?

I had San Diego as well and never even commented. I didn't want to piss off the gambling gods.

''The first pass was the one that was illegal, but it only kills the play if it hits the ground,'' Green said.

The pass from the quarterback was illegal? I didn't watch the game, so I really don't know the situation, but how can the first pass be illegal? Did the QB cross the line of scrimmage?

Gambling goes all the way back to Bible times; it probably goes all the way back to when those Pharoes were building those pyramids. Can't you just see it: "here are todays opening lines on the completion date of ther "Great Pyramid or the Sphynx" etc.; the first ever "over-under" type of bet in the history of the world.

Some might not have lived long enough to collect their bet.

Talk about the "fix" being in; some of those Pharoes were really mean.

hey dummies if it was fixed Pitt runs the clock down to 3 sec before kicking that field goal.

you ignorant fools are embarrassing all gamblers with your insistent whining.

:sadbb: boo hoo

genious, that would imply the teams were in on it which nobody is saying. The game was fixed but who was involved remains to be seen. At a minimum the officials were.

I will ask the question again, since no one can answer it. IF THE GAME WAS FIXED, WHY WOULD THE REFS NULLIFY PITTSBURGH'S RUSHING TOUCHDOWN ON THEIR FINAL DRIVE?

BECAUSE THE REFS WANTED SAN DIEGO TO COVER. YOU ARE A MORON

I feel bad for someone like yourself as it is pretty obvious that you are in need of brain cells. If the refs fixed the game, why would they call holding to nullify Pittsburgh's rushing TD at the end of the 4th?

Referee's suck. All referee's from this game should be fired. The way this game was officiated clearly makes one believe the ref's bet on SAN DIEGO +4 to 5 points. Again, just review the facts. Bogus pass interfernce call gave SD 1st & goal, leading to 7 points. Bogus holding call on 3rd & goal that robbed Pitt of o TD. Than the removal of 6 points on the last play. Plus the lopsidedness of all penalties in the game. Referee's cost Pittsburg at least 17 points. Fire their asses.

I have enjoyed watching and wagering on NFL and college FB my entire life but after what I saw yesterday I must say I will never make a friendly wager on a NFL game my entire life. I did not even have a wager on the game. That was unbelievable that they pulled that off. It just makes you wonder how high does it go? Who actually is policing these shit.
