Last 2 weeks the point spread was only a factor for 2 games. If you pick the winner of the game then the point spread will have minimal bearing on your wager.

Jax vs Carolina Week 1
Oakland vs Cincy Week 2

I do not have the specifics of this last year but I think it was in the 75-80% range.

So based on this, if you like the Giants to win tonight but are afraid to lay the number...don't fret just lay 'em.

The spread doesn't matter. Here are the records for games each week where whomever wins the game covers the spread.

Week 1 14-1-1 (Carolina being he only loser)
Week 2 14-1-1 (Oakland)
