I can see this game being a nice (albeit small) money line dog play. Sure the Fish usually play well at home, but this game looks to me like a toss-up, so I will take any plus money available at pick-em.

wil, good luck, but I have to go with the Fish at home. You will probably get the money as i have been trying to get too cute in trying to figure out when Phili will lose on their current 8-0 pointspread run. I am not going huge, so if i lose, i hope you had a monster play on it.

I admit I am an Eagle fan,

I feel that the Eagles will win by a touchdown. The main reason is that I think that even though the Fish D is good it has a history of making mental lapses. If one thinks about it the only really teams they beated were the ravens (in a tight game) and the cowboys(on the bubble). The eagles will pick a couple of passes and the Fish D will give up a few crucial plays.

Both teams need the win but the Dolphins are in must win mode so they should win and cover.

If the Dolphins lose this one, their season is about over, especially if Tennessee and Denver both win on Sunday.

I lean to the Dolphins. They only have to win by 3.

Dolphins have been a poor home team all year. It is a do or die game for them and I expect an inspired effort. With that being said, don't think it is one of the stronger plays of the week as Philly has played well on road. Lean to Dolphins.

I am fed up with trying to figure out the right time to play against Phili. they take the money down every week. I am prepared to lose again as I am laying the 2 with Miami. Do we have a shot here?

These are two very evenly matched teams. I'm sorry but McNabb is very overrated, the guy has like 12 TD's and 77.6 QB rating and he's all of a sudden a superstar again and supposed to start in the probowl because the Eagles are playing great as a team. The Eagles are a running team, the Fins stop the run. The Fins are a running team and Philly is not good against the run. This is the hardest game left on Miami's schedule. They have to win out and hope Den splits their last two games, but Miami is arguebly the worst team in the League in December. I am leaning towards Miami here because they are very good at home, usually beat Philly, and have more wins than anyone on Monday night. But the fact that Philly is on an 8 game roll and Miami seems to always blow it late in the season has me scared. That being said Miami 20 - Philadelphia 17. Not to worry Miami will still lose next week in Buffalo as a road favorite. Any thoughts?

Man......They also have more losses on Mon. night than anybody. Mia. has been a poor home team this year and Phil. has been a good road team. Phil. has also covered the spread last 2 against the fins......I'm leaning on the eagles folks.............GL Players

Parity has evened up the playing field.
Emotion is usually a deciding factor when Teams are evenly matched, and it gets to crunch time. The Eagle's have started their run earlier, now the Dolphins start theirs on prime time.
I expect to see Ricky have a big night in a "Statement game"..

Tonight: A few passing clouds, otherwise generally clear. Low 66F. Winds E at 5 to 10 mph. Well I'm going with the weather forecast
tonite "passing" lots of passing, lots of points. It will be just like the dallas game.

im suprised there as been no mention of andy reids MNF record.

well, lets look at the fact that the eagles probably would have lost their last MNF game at GB if favre didnt have a bad thumb. this would have broke the current eagles ATS streak as well as made reid's record worse on MNF.

the thing about the eagles now vs. the eagles in sept is that the eagles are now a very healthy team that seems to be clicking on all cylinders.

we saw miami play on TG vs dallas. this was a dolphin team opening it up and doing a lot of things on offense. fielder was healthy however, and now things may tend to be "closed back up" some. which could really hurt any chance they have of beating a team playing as well as philly.

Passing Stats
Player Yds Comp% Yds/Att TD INT Rating
Fiedler 1524 56.6 6.7 9 9 73.8
McNabb 2500 56.1 6.4 12 8 77.1

McNabb has 1000 more yards than Fieldler because he has attempted 164 more passes than Fieldler.

Man From Troy - You are 100% correct. These guys have similar stats yet McNabb is an MVP candidate where as Fieldler is a goat????

td to int ratio stats really arent that similar. plus consider that 12 to 8 gets even better if you just look at the lasy 8 games i think mcnabb has got like 1 pick. fielder isnt even in the realm of mcnabb

Rob, you're right 9-9 sucks but you know what so does 12-8. The elite QB's all have 20+ TD's and at least a +10 margin versus Ints. But you know what really seperates McNabb from Fiedler is his running. Oh wait a minute I was thinking of Michael Vick. McNabb is ordinary at best, I agree he's playing a lot better, but I still think he will be exposed in the playoffs and is a year away from getting back to his old form. What made him great in the past was the fact that he was able to run around and break 3 or 4 tackles before he found a wide open dude down the field for a huge play, he's never been real quick to read the field, or even all that accurate. His lack of running has really killed his game
