ESPN has spent all morning downplaying that Pete Dye designed the course and giving credit to his wife, Alice. Right before JT/Rory/Brooks teed off they talked about how Alice should be given credit for elevating the fairways to increase the effect of wind. and now, on 17th, they asked if the wayward shot by Rory was part of "Alice's plan" when designing the course.

this is fn insanity ... PETE DYE designed the course you woke bitches
